If the places I travel to during the game are places for the aliens to
go, how come I never see any there?
In a strange twist of the laws of physics, the alien beings exist in a
dimension that is slightly shifted from ours. The result of this is the
inability for either species to see each other. Have you ever noticed that
when you look into a mirror in a Scavenger world there is no reflection?
When I start a new game, everything is different. What is happening?
The Scavengers are very prolific builders and when one of their creations
is destroyed they waste no time rebuilding them. Often the builders will make
minor adjustments to the new structures, a lock here, none there and they pull
from their inventory of stolen goods to 'restock' each individual world. When
you are sent on a new mission to retrieve stolen goods it is exactly that - a
new mission.
In other words, every time you restart the game, the initialization sequence
will formulate a new game for you with different stolen property to find, different
worlds to explore and new solutions to the puzzles.
How many arrangements of the worlds are there?
All of the arrangements for the worlds are generated randomly during
the game start-up sequence so the number possible arrangements is very large.
There is no way of knowing what worlds will appear and how they will be
'out-fitted' until you start playing the game.
Is there a walk through for this game?
Due to the random nature of this game's layout, it is impossible to
create a step by step walk through, however, there are certain things that,
while they may not always be available or visible in all instances of the game,
can be predictably located in certain areas.
Sagewood Software provides a game help for assistance and hints on getting
over the tougher puzzles in the game; available through most of the Adventure game
forums.
